In the investigation we performed complex clinical and laboratory examination in patients with multiple trauma. We described the role of the 3rd type serotonin receptors (5-HT3) in the pathogenesis of traumatic disease. We found a positive effect of using of 5-HT3 blockers in complex intensive therapy in patients with cranioabdominal injury.
